Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire at a waste centre at Pinden in Dartford.
Six fire engines and a bulk water carrier attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames.
There were no reported injuries, and the cause is not yet known.
