Final update

The earlier advice to avoid the B2075 in Lydd has been lifted, and the scene has been made safe. 

Initial update

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have dealt with a boat alight on a trailer on the B2075 in Lydd. Crews used high-pressure hose reel jets with compressed air foam to knock down the flames.

There is a road closure in place as a precaution while crews allow gas cylinders involved in the fire to vent off safely. Road users are advised to avoid the area.

There are no reports of any injuries.
