Kent Fire and Rescue Service have left this incident and people living near Boundary Road in Chatham are no longer advised to keep windows and doors closed. 

Three fire engines attended and crews supported staff from UK Power Networks to re-energise the power, with dry powder ready to extinguish a fire if needed. 

There were no injuries reported and the cause is not yet known.
