Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle alight on the A28 Canterbury Road, in St Nicholas at Wade, Birchington.
Two fire engines attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported.
