Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire in a bathroom at a property in Crockenhill, Swanley. Four fire engines attended the house in Eynsford Road and crews wore breathing apparatus while using hose reel jets to put out the flames. It’s believed the fire started in an extraction fan in the first floor en-suite. No casualties were reported. Following the incident, firefighters are reminding people to keep extraction fans clear of dust and dirt, and to make sure they are kept in a good working order.
