Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a garage alight on Rembrandt Drive in Northfleet, Gravesend. Three fire engines were in attendance and firefighters arrived to smoke and flames issuing from the garage door. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet, a main jet and water from a hydrant to reduce the fire spread and extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known.
