The wildfire fire near Thong Lane in Gravesend is now out.

One fire engine remains at the scene, and the crew is damping down any remaining hot spots.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to a wildfire involving a field of cut corn, near Thong Lane in Gravesend.

Five fire engines are currently in attendance, with further resources on the way.

People are advised to avoid the area while crews work to bring the fire under control.
