Update: 04/07/21 21:30A controlled building demolition has taken place and the final remaining hot spots have been extinguished. All firefighting activity has now been completed and crews have now left the scene. Update: 04/07/21 12:46Crews remain in attendance as this incident. Controlled building demolition is scheduled for later in the day to allow for the firefighting activity to be completed. The road remains closed and the public is still being asked to avoid the area. Update: 03/07/21 16:06Crews have used a fog spike, hose reel jets and compressed air foam to bring the fire under control. Due to the building becoming unstable the road will be closed. Crews are asking everyone to avoid the area where possible. Kent Fire and Rescue Service are currently at the scene of a fire in a derelict building on Sutton Valence Hill, Sutton Valence. Crews are urging local residents to close windows and doors due to smoke in the area.
