Kent Fire and Rescue Service remain at the scene of a fire in a bunker at waste for energy incinerator plant in Allington. Crews have worked closely with the site team to effect an attack of the fire. Crews wearing breathing apparatus have used hose reel jets to attack the seat of the fire and used positive pressure ventilation fans to clear the smoke. Crews are expected to remain in attendance for the next few hours.
