Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of an outbuilding fire on Main Road in Chattenden, Rochester. Four fire engines were sent to the scene and crews arrived to smoke issuing from the building. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets and hose reel jets to protect a nearby property and extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported and the cause is believed to be accidental.
