Single car crash on M25 near Chevening

Kent Fire and Rescue Service together with colleagues from other emergency services were called to a single car crash on the M25 at junction 5 (Chevening). Firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to gain access to the driver. A woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Crews made the scene safe. Kent Police are appealing to witnesses who may have footage of the crash scene.Footage sought after fatal collision near M25Witnesses are urged to come forward with information or dashcam footage after a fatal collision on the M25.On Friday 16 August 2019 at around 3.25pm a grey Suzuki Swift was travelling on the motorway at Junction 5 near Chevening. The car was heading in the direction of the A21 south-bound when it came off the road and collided with a fence.The driver of the car, a woman in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to speak to anyone who has information, including dashcam footage or who may have seen the vehicle in the moments leading up to the incident.Anyone with information should call Kent Police on 01622 798538 quoting reference KH/JG/085/19.
