Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of an outbuilding alight on Queen Street in Paddock Wood. Three fire engines were in attendance and firefighters arrived to a small outbuilding, a motor vehicle and an area of grassland alight. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets, flexi-packs and beaters to extinguish the flames, before damping down any remaining hot spots. No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known.
