Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire spreading to grass and hay on Green Lane in Platts Heath, Maidstone. Four fire engines attended the incident, and crews used hose reel jets and a fogging unit to extinguish the blaze and prevent further fire spread. No casualties were reported and the cause has not been confirmed.
