Five fire engines and a bulk water carrier were sent to reports of two articulated lorries alight at a lorry park and service station in Waterbrook Avenue, Ashford.Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the blaze using high-pressure hose reel jets and compressed air foam which creates a blanket reducing the amount of oxygen that can then feed a fire.No injuries have been reported. Sadly both vehicles were destroyed by the fire. The cause is thought to be accidental.
