Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a garden fire in Swain Road, Tenterden.
Three fire engines attended and crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames, which had spread to a car and some external parts of the house.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
