People living near A2 eastbound between the B255 at Bean and the A2260 near Northfleet are no longer advised to avoid the area.

Crews were called to assist SECamb due to reports of a crash on the A2 eastbound between Bean and Northfleet, three fire engines attended.

The A2 remains closed eastbound between the B255 at Bean and the A2260 near Northfleet. The road is expected to be closed until at least 10:00 this morning.

Motorists are advised to check for traffic updates before travelling towards the affected area.

Duty of care was left with Kent Police.

People people living or working nearby are being advised to avoid due to an ongoing incident.

The A2 in Kent is CLOSED eastbound between the B255 at Bean and the A2260 near Northfleet and is causing heavy delays in the area. Motorists are advised to check for traffic updates when travelling.
