This post will provide a summary of notable incidents attended by Kent Fire and Rescue Service during Storm Dennis. The list will be updated when necessary.16 February 09:19am – Crews attended the scene of a roof overhanging a public footpath on Beecroft Close in Canterbury. One fire engine was sent to the scene and crews used a ladder and small tools to remove the overhanging material and make the scene safe. 08:19am – One fire engine was sent to the scene of an overhanging roof at a commercial property on Romney Place in Maidstone. Firefighters used a ladder and small tools to clear overhanging materials and make the scene safe. 07:22am – Firefighters attended an incident on London Road in Deal involving a tree that had fallen onto two properties and street lighting. Crews helped make the scene safe and cut away any debris. 05:28am – One fire engine was sent to the scene of a tree that had fallen onto the roof of a house on Knatts Valley in Sevenoaks. Crews attended to help make the scene safe. ........................................15 February 17:29pm - Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a partial building collapse on Canterbury Road in Herne Bay. Three fire engines and our Technical Rescue Unit were sent to assist and help make the scene safe. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance were also in attendance. Stop time: 19:50pm
