Kent Fire and Rescue Service has been called to a fire in a derelict cinema in Lower Stone Street, Maidstone. The bingo hall beneath the cinema has been safely evacuated and there are no reported injuries. Three fire engines and a height vehicle have been sent to the scene. Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire and have now left the scene.
