Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Teston Lane in Teston, Maidstone, to rescue a horse stuck in a river. The animal rescue unit and water safety unit attended, and crews used special machinery to lift the 15-hand horse out of the water. The horse was checked over by a vet and didn’t have any injuries. The RSPCA also attended.
