Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a kitchen fire at a house in Balmoral Road, Gillingham
Two fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used a fire blanket and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is believed to be accidental and linked to cooking
