Firefighters using a height vehicle have taken down the chimney stack of a property in Redoubt Way, Dymchurch, following a fire in the roof space.Crews wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire using a pair of high-pressure hoses and a jet from a covering main hose. The fire was prevented from spreading to an adjacent property.There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
