Firefighting operations have now finished at an industrial park in #Sittingbourne

At the height of the incident, ten fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used main jets to extinguish the flames. 
The height vehicle, drone and Volunteer Response Team were also in attendance.
Three people were checked over by SECAmb paramedics for smoke inhalation and the cause is not yet known.
 

Update at 9.40pm on 26 April:

Attendance at this incident has been reduced to one fire engine. The fire is now extinguished, and firefighters remain on scene to check for any remaining hotspots and to maintain a watching brief.

Update at 10.30am on 26 April: 

Two fire engines remain at the scene of a fire at an industrial park, Styles Close, in Sittingbourne.

Firefighters are systematically working through the building to ensure all hotspots are fully dampened down.

Crews are no longer advising people living near the industrial park, Styles Close, in Sittingbourne to close their windows and doors following a fire this afternoon.

Attendance at this incident has been reduced to three fire engines and a height vehicle.

Crews remain at the scene implementing control measures and making sure there are no remaining hotspots.

People living near the industrial park, Styles Close, in Sittingbourne are still being advised to keep their windows and doors closed due to smoke from a fire.
