The fire at Oast Park Golf Club in Sandy Lane, Snodland is now out. Crews will continue to survey affected area this evening, checking for any remaining hot spots. The fire destroyed around fourteen hectares of land.

Two fire engines remain at the scene of a fire at Oast Park Golf Club in Sandy Lane, Snodland.

Crews are now surveying the affected area and using flexi packs (portable water tanks with a hose attached) to damp down any remaining hot spots.

Update 9:40pm

Two fire engines remain at the scene of a fire at Oast Park Golf Club in Snodland. Crews are maintaining a watching brief overnight to ensure any hotspots are out. 
There are no reports of any injuries and the cause is unknown.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is currently attending a fire involving trees and undergrowth at Oast Park Golf Club in Sandy Lane, Snodland. Nine fire engines currently at the scene and crews are working to extinguish the flames and prevent any fire spread. More to follow.
