Minnis Bay Neighbourhood Meet and Greet
Fire station open day
Families,
Calling all residents in Minnis Bay!
We are excited to announce that Kent Fire and Rescue Service will be taking to the road in June with a number of Neighbourhood Meet and Greets. These events will have all the elements of our usual Fire Station Open Days but will be based in the heart of your community.
On Tuesday 25 June 2024 a Neighbourhood Meet and Greet will take place at The Dip, Minnis Bay.
Families and friends are invited to come along and meet firefighters and other staff while taking part in an exciting afternoon full of activities including The Byrnes Family Show, jump on board a fire engine, meet our partners including the Police, Ambulance, Coastguard, RNLI and more; and lots of opportunities to learn about keeping the whole family safe.
The Neighbourhood Meet and Greet will be open from 3pm to 6pm, spaces are completely FREE but tickets MUST BE BOOKED in advance.
It is essential you book your FREE tickets for each member of your family via our dedicated link. Demand for tickets may be high, so if you book yours and find out later that you are unable to attend, please let us know or cancel your tickets so that we can free up spaces for others.
Some things to note before you arrive:
- Food and drink – You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to the event but there will be light refreshments available
- Photography – There may be a photographer on site so please let a KFRS member at the registration desk know if you do not want to be photographed
- An outside event – the entire event is outside, so please dress appropriately for hot or wet weather. If needed, bring with you some extra water and sunscreen
- Public parking – there is no parking onsite but there is plenty of street parking nearby as well as parking along the sea front. PLEASE park considerately
- Toilet facilities – there are limited public toilet facilities within a 10 minute walk.
