Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a number of reports of flooded properties across Kent, including homes in Ashford, Folkestone, Dover and Romney Marsh. 

In total, approximately 19 fire engines were deployed to respond to the incidents, where crews worked hard to clear the floodwater with specialist equipment.

Partner agencies and KFRS' Volunteer Response Team also attended to offer support and advice to affected residents. 

No injuries were reported.
