Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a shed fire down Sutton Road, in Langley, Maidstone. 

Crews located a tumble dryer on fire in an outbuilding which had spread to a washing machine. Crews extinguished the fire with a hose-reel jet and safely removed the appliances.

There are no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is unknown.

Firefighters are reminding people to check their smoke alarms regularly.
