Update at 08:20 - Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the car roof and free a man trapped inside. He was handed into the care of SECAmb paramedics and the air ambulance. The road remains closed while emergency services are in attendance. Fire crews have now left the scene. ............................Emergency services are at the scene of a crash involving a car and HGV on St Johns Road in Tunbridge Wells. Kent Police have closed the road in both directions near to the junction with Leighton Close. Firefighters are working with paramedics to free the male driver of a car who is trapped by his injuries. Motorists are advised to take an alternative route as the road is likely to be closed for some time. More to come.
