
Jon Quinn
Director
Jon became director of Protection, Prevention and Customer Engagement at Kent Fire and Rescue Service in July 2020.
Prior to that, he was assistant director for Customer Engagement and Safety. Jon is a qualified fire safety inspector and is responsible for the service’s regulatory responsibilities in enforcing fire safety legislation; working with customers to help keep people safe in their homes, where they work and in places of education; and the service’s engagement, customer experience, behaviour change teams.
Jon is also responsible for collaborating with community groups and charities, safeguarding and volunteers.
Jon is part of the corporate management cell in the event of a major emergency, and deputises for the chief executive as required.
